MeTimer - The Meeting Timer - helps you to terminate your meetings punctually. Set the planned length of the meetings and start the count down timer. The progress bar shows you how much of the planned time has already passed.
You can set two time points in response to which the progress bar changes its colour to yellow and later red. Acoustic signals will additionally signal you the changes in time points. You can adjust the time points through the sliding control or drop down list. Tap on the background of the sliding control to adjust the length of time in steps of 1 minute. Tap on the small arrows to adjust the time by 1 second.
You adjust the time points for red and yellow signals through the sliding controls. Set the times either by minutes or percent. In order to avoid the shutting down of PDA during the countdown, you can temporarily switch off the Auto-Off-Timer. Activate the sound effects in order to receive the acoustical signals for yellow and red time points as well as the expiry of the meeting time.
You can open the options dialog either through the menu or by clicking on the traffic light symbol. You can also adjust all the sliding controls by clicking on the background bar.
The Meeting timer continues to run even when you leave the MeTimer for e.g. to look up an address.
MeTimer is optimized for Palm PDAs with low and high resolution. Use also the 5-Way Navigator, the Rocker Switch, or Sony JogDial for operation:
Up / Down / JogDial: Set Time
Select / Push / JogDial: Start
Left: Pause
Right / Back / Escape: Reset
Sound effects are even played on the older Palm PDAs without sound chip.
MeTimer is a unique application for Palm PDAs. You will not find any product of its comparison.
