Smart Update is Online Software Update Tool. It is used primary to trace the actual releases of my own applications and update over the Internet, but can be also configured to install or update any files on Palm platform.
WARNING: SmartUpdate can't update itself because the program is locked during execution time! Please update it manually!
· Reads the list of possible updates with actual versions from Web-Server;
· XML over HTTP exchange protocol, source XML file has easy structure;
· Updates applications over Internet/Intranet;
· Categories for applications;
· Launches applications;
· Deletes applications;
· Beam applications with all their overlays and databases (if any present);
· Shows the information about applications: actual version, available version, dates of release and last update, the license model, used memory, program and library files;
· Navigates PalmOS web browser to application's home page;
· Some applications can be hidden to keep the list clean;
· Supports advanced fonts by FontBucket;
· Supports advanced screen resolutions of Sony CLIE and PalmOS5
