Art Opps is a free Android app dedicated to worldwide art opportunities, calls for entries, funding, and other mobility resources for artists and art organizations.
- STARRING - star/save opp and read it later
- SHARING - Bluetooth, Buffer, Gmail and other services are supported
- SNIPPETS - for Twitter (Cards), Facebook, Google+, LinkedIn and all major social networks
- AUTOMATIC UPDATES - disable/enable and customize app update/sync interval (set ringtone, vibrate and/or flash notification)
- DISPLAY - list/grid views, text size
- WIDGETS - beautiful widgets/hubs for tablets home screen(s) (unique styling for each opp, resizable)
For easier navigation/browsing, main HUBS are introduced to Android version:

• LITERARY ARTS (call for papers, playwriting, poetry, prose, screenwriting…)

We are receiving/sharing information from hundreds of relevant festivals, mailing lists, art organizations and individuals on a regular basis. Also, we are regularly checking all major related media such as (but not limited to): Zippyframes, Nmartproject, Transartists, Re-title, Transculturalexchange, Visualalberta, Residencyunlimited, Scoopit, Rhizome, Artrubicon, Expcinema, Eyemedianews, Neme, Newmediafest, Artservis, Wooloo, Fluate and much much more.
What permissions Art Opps uses and why?
-Storage - modify/delete SD card contents - to save cache/opps, to run the app offline
-Network communication - full Internet access - to sync and download content
-System tools - prevent phone from sleeping - depending on your sync preferences Art Opps will try to check for new opportunities while on stand-by (disabled by default)
-Hardware controls - control flashlight, control vibrator - this permission is used for special notifications after successful updates (disabled by default)
-System tools - automatically start at boot - this is used to quickly check app syncing preferences and is needed for automatic updates; it doesn't start the app, if auto sync is disabled (default), app wont do anything (disabled by default)
Art Opps is also available on phone, tablet, computer and other devices/gadgets via the Web App interface (open for all browsers).
