• 6,000 cycles and 400 docking stations in central London, with east London expansion in Spring 2012
• The public are able to hire bikes for short journeys, with each half hour journey being free once they have paid their access fee
Barclays Cycle Superhighways
• Clearly marked cycle routes designed to make it quicker, easier and safer for people to cycle between outer and inner London
• Four routes have been launched to date, with a further 8 routes proposed over the next 4 years
The sponsorships takes the Barclays brand around London - an iconic city and one in which Barclays has its global headquarters - in an eye catching and innovative way.
