You can determine who is bigger or smaller by their color, when the fish come closer to you, some become red, the other - green and that will show that they can be eaten. There is a shop in the game, where you can buy various bonuses like a shield making you invulnerable to enemy or medicine cabinet for in-game currency- seashells.
