IPChecker is run on a desktop computer running Windows. IPChecker monitors the IP address of a computer that is connected to a non static source such as a Cable Modem or DSL Connection. If the IP address changes, an email will be sent out to the person concerned with the new IP address. What this allows is for a user to connect up to his home or a remote computer using Terminal Services which comes on a Pocket PC or a product such as WindowsXP® Remote Desktop Feature or Symantec's PCAnywhere® . It will allow Pocket PC users to use the Terminal Services program to access the remote computer at all times because you will always know the IP address of the remote computer. You must be running Windows XP Pro at home to take advantage of the remote desktop feature with Terminal Services.
