Link Spider - This is my first attempt at writing a WP7 application. While looking for something interesting to build I noticed that network calls on WP7 devices are not limited by cross domain restrictions so I decided to build an application that could extract the links and images from any web page.
The tool allows you to enter any web page url and it will attempt to extract the images or the links from the page. You can then email, sms or share on Facebook or twitter. You can also save images to your local phone media library.
The home page is built using a pivot and also has a search facility, a bookmark repository to save interesting pages that you might want to revisit as well as some suggestions provided by the author. These suggestions are automatically updated on a regular basis.
I used MVVM-Light and Ninject and tried to use best practices.
