Alex Mercer wakes up in a morgue of the GENTEC corporation, but he doesn't remember his past life, he remembers only his name. Mercer goes out and meets soldiers which try to kill him. He succeeded to escape from the persecutors and appeared in the streets of the city which plunged into chaos of military actions started by the USA military forces with the assistance of special detachment "Blackwatch". Soon Mercer discovers he now possesses superhuman abilities, for example, huge power. With the help of his superpowers Alex tries to find out what happened to him when the entire city was infected.
