psnpatch is an app that's commonly used to access the PlayStation Network while running custom firmware. Through various plugins, patches, and stealth functionality, the chance for modded consoles to get banned while online is reduced significantly. Version 4.55.02's auto-update feature means you no longer have to install a fresh copy of the app every time an update rolls around. You'll also notice a more complete 4.46 game patcher to that supports all main file types.
