RetroXMB Creator 1.3.5: More Image And Core Options For Shortcuts - Aldo Vargas has updated his RetroXMB shortcut creator to 1.3.5. It handles DDS image conversion, and offers more customizable options for cores and the app itself!
RetroXMB Creator hit our servers not too long ago, and since its release, Aldo Vargas has worked steadily to improve how his GUI operates. There are a bevy of changes in the most recent builds, but most of them involve improvement of image handling and other customization features. The biggest recent update revises the organization of temporary folders. Additionally, there's a new "core options" menu that allows you to adopt different color palettes for specific games. I have added a progress bar when roms are dropped to create multiple packages in batch. Also the selected core is now displayed in preview mode.

I have included these wallpapers in a new folder "Skins" You can select one of them pressing F3 (Blue Icon), then going to the "Skins" tab. The selected skin will be used on the packages created with the selected core.

Added an experimental conversion method using the parameters: -rel_scale 0.6, 0.6 -24 dxt1c
If the images are already in DDS format, the program will use them, instead of try to do the conversion.(it's not the best approach, but at least the images will have the proper size if you provide them already converted)

Rom location added to PARAM.HIP automatically. (PARAM.HIP txt contents is viewable from XMB by highlighting the rom and pressing TRIANGLE to access side-bar menu and select "Update Histroy"
