If you're looking for a PSP homebrew game that's annoyingly addictive but delivers tons of fun you will love karmon's Falldown v0.1. The game is based FallDown1, a flash game, where the goal is to keep a cannon ball from reaching the top of the screen by dropping it through the breaks in a series of bars that continuosly move upward. As the game progresses, the speed of the rising bars increases.
It's amazing how such a simple gameplay can hook gamers into hours and hours of playtime.
Meanwhile, karmon is already working on an update which is based on the slightly more complicated FallDown2. He says it will take him awhile to release that but that's okay. You'll be so into Falldown v1.0, time will fly by and you won't even notice it!
