A lot of people say that playing addictive single-player games are an anti-social thing to do in a party. But heck, who cares? At least you know you're having your own party with your PSP, right? One of the more enjoyable addictive homebrew we've come across is Super Mario Power Coins.
As with any other addictive game, the formula for enjoyment equates to just one simple goal in this game: grab as many coins without getting hit by the enemies. Easy enough, right? If you've played this game before, you'd know that it isn't. The game progresses fast - just the way we like it! - and after five minutes (if you can last that long) the screen is filled with evil meanies.
Xandu has updated his homebrew and powered it up to Super Mario Power Coins v1.2. Here's his changelog:
* Ability to run by pressing the square button while moving
* Ability to change characters : Mario, Luigi (for now)
* GFX improvement
* Fixed some bugs
Yeah, finally, we can run! Now, it's easier to dodge. Luigi is also a playable character now, and Xandu is even planning to include more characters that you can choose from. He's also planning to incorporate the Analog for movement, new level backgrounds, and more kinds of enemies. Great stuff!
