Homebrew developer placo23 dropped by QJ.NET PSP Development Forum and released a little yet useful application known as BatteryInfo. Just like what its name says, this specific program provides PlayStation Portable owners their handheld's battery status on the XMB.
This is not the first time that we've seen applications similar to this 'round here. In case you still aren't seeing the usefulness of such programs, take note that they give you an accurate display of your battery's life instead of the official icons that are sometimes rather inaccurate.
This is especially useful when uploading sensitive programs to your PSP that require a minimum level of battery life. Anyway, placo23 included a Readme.txt file with BatteryInfo v0.1 that contains information in installation process and other details. He added as well the fonts and color options will be available in the next versions.
