In the wake of TyDoPad's beta release, Nullkill has just released an Alpha version of his very own PSP Vi. Since this is still an alpha release, Nullkill says that it's only semi-functional but it is pretty handy. The src and corresponding config file for the Ir library is also bundled with PSP Vi. According to Nullkill, this is so that "ideally, anyone who wants keyboard input from an Ir keyboard can use the library, allowing a common config file to be used for any application."
Nullkill has also an bundled an experimental application called IrKbdCfgGen with the download. If you want to use a keyboard other than the PalmOne Universal Keyboard that PSP Vi's .cfg file was built for, this app walks you through building a config file for the keyboard of your choice. Keep in mind though that this app is experimental.
For installation instructions and instructions on how to use the IrKbdCfgGen app, check the readme file included in the download. A list of supported Vi commands are also included in the readme file.
