No, we're not kidding: a new application has hit the homebrew scene from the European side and it appears to be the initial result of a virtual DJ project on the Sony PlayStation Portable. Homebrew developer DragonKnight plated the first version of VDJTable - a turntablist's joy on the PSP.
VDJTable version 1.0 features several pre-recorded beats to queue and mix into a rhythmic blend you can nod your head to, but the selection is rather limited at the moment to electronica and techno tastes. It's graphics will also leave a lot to be desired, but that's acceptable for a first release.
And while there isn't an option to try your hand at mixing up MP3 or other audio tracks, we hope there will be on in the future or at least sample tracks to practice the beats with. A readme is included in the archive, but you might need a babelizer handy, because its not exactly English-friendly.
