ShUr1k3n has released an updated version of his Bomberman Arena homebrew game for the PSP coded entierely in C. The last time we heard from this game was back in June, when we heard that ShUr1K3n was working on Ad-Hoc support that he couldn't quite get the hang of. Now you'll be pleased to hear that he has come back and version 1.0 of Bomberman Arena features full Ad-Hoc multiplayer support!
The aim of Bomberman Arena (as if you didn't already know) is to bomb your way through a level whilst avoiding the 'baddies' which kill you. This version of the game is finally out of beta and has a nice feature list, which includes the 1v1 PSP Ad-Hoc support amongst other improvements. Here's the changelog:
* Now you can choose 8 different characters (also with new sprites)
* Teleports
* New "Controls Setup" concept
* Multiplayer via Adhoc (1vs1)
I must say, this is a great game and is probably one of the games that I least expected the see updated within the past week. ShUr1k3n has gone and shocked the whole QJ office with this release and we'll all be playing against each other now instead of working! This is a very good release ShUr1k3n and we hope to see many more updates from him in the future.
