PlayStation Portable homebrew developer Royale has just released a new build for Chromium PSP, bumping it up to version 0.2. This particular game is actually a port of Chromium B.S.U. originally released on Windows and Linux.
Anyway, you have to have the original files from the game to make this port work. Coder Royale provided the following instructions for interested users:
* First you need the PSP toolchain installed with libraries.
* I had to recompile SDL_Mixer with the following options to fix linking: --disable-music-libmikmod --disable-music-ogg --disable-music-ogg-tremor --disable-music-mp3
* Download Chromium B.S.U. version 0.9.12.
* Untar src and data archives.
* Apply my patch: cd Chromium-0.9; patch -p1 < ../Chromium-PSP-0.2.patch
* Build the glpng library: cd support/glpng/src/; make -f Makefile.psp
* Build the game: cd /src/; make -f Makefile.psp
* Copy the data folder in the _SCE_Chromium folder.
* Copy the _SCE_Chromium and %_SCE_Chromium folders to the PSP 1.5 firmware folder and enjoy
For additional notes regarding this port and the original, you may want to visit the coder's personal page via the source link below. It should also provide you the url where you can get the original game.
