CWCheat has just been updated to 0.1.6 REV.I . And according to homebrew developer weltall, this revised version should now work "on all the released and yet to release (if Sony doesn't do something crazy) psx emulators."
He also reports that coding for the Cwcheat interface is complete, and that people may now add/remove codelines from cheats in the cheat modification section of his app - read the changelog below for further details:
Rewritten from scratch half of the mc management internal code, so now mc should be found in all cases (all emulators/plugins) and most probably also in emulators still not out[POPS]
It's now possible to remove codelines with SELECT in the cheat modification menu[ALL]
It's now possible to add codelines with START in the cheat modification menu[ALL]
Other fixes and little modifications[ALL]
As always, we strongly recommend a viewing of the enclosed bundle's README, along with trying out the bundle's PSXMC2PSP app, which was a recent addition to the pack. Lastly, do remember to see Pasky's CWCheat tools or database editor - both will work with weltall's homebrew quite nicely. Enjoy the download.
