Jsharrad from our forum has released his MinerPSP version 0.0.4. This is a clone of the old DOS game "MinerVGA" back in year 1989.
As a miner, you start out with $1500 and can dig as much as you'd like as long as you can afford the earthshaker fee and don't die or run out of cash. The bank and surgery are the only 2 working buildings at the moment, use the bank to cash in your minerals and the surgery for healing. Here are some more details:
Controls:
* Start - forces a restart
* Select - takes a screenshot
* Dpad - move miner (up enters a building)
* Cross - exits buildings
* Triangle - respawns mine at a cost of $2500
* Analog - move left/right faster in town
There's still alot to do, like get the rest of the buildings up, add in the inventory for your tools, add the tools, add more mine depth.
I'm interested to know whether this works on 2.xx if someone could test that and let me know, that'd be great. I also welcome comments on spawn rates & walk speeds - too slow? too fast? not enough spawns? let me know
