Homebrew Developer ahrimanes dropped by in our forums to announce that Polygunwars v0.2 is finished and ready for play. In case you missed our previous coverage on this, it is a game akin to the popular Geometry Wars on the Xbox 360. The latest version of this game adds some new features and a bugfix for the sound problems.
This latest version now has new background music and a new enemy called the blue diamond. The game is also significantly harder since enemies now have a brief moment of invulnerability when it spawns. Finally, the sound bug in Polygunwars v0.1 has already been fixed in this latest iteration of the homebrew.
Polygunwars is now compatible with both 1.xx and 3.xx firmware. If you plan on downloading the game and trying it out, be sure to get the proper versions for your PSPs firmware.
