If you've already installed the latest 3.80 custom firmware from Dark AleX you might have realized some of your older homebrew applications may no longer be compatible on your PSP. It's a good thing developer Ac_K has released an updated version to the Custom XMB Editor app that he's working on, and has catered the latest version to work on CFW 3.80.
Just as the name of this nifty little app implies, it allows you to customize your PlayStation Portable's XMB menu by allowing you to change the font colors and menu icons to your liking. It's all pretty standard compared to other XMB customizers, but what makes it shine is the fact that it's compatible with all firmware released so far.
Anyway, here's a list of changes to the latest version of Custom XMB Editor v0.3:
Main :
- Drag & Drop.
- Config for CheckPRX.
- Config for Enabled Compression.
VSHMain :
- Error on Menu Editor Fixed
- Y Position Hold Fix in 3.71 & 3.72.
- VSHMain.prx 3.73 support.
- Date & Hour Format (Just Read - Write Function Needed)
- VSHMain.prx 3.80 support.
For more information, don't forget to check out the documentation included with the app. For the program itself, you can download it off the link we've provided below.
