For people in the homebrew community, Devhook is probably one of the required apps you need to get around in the scene. Ever since people found out that Devhook v0.51 also supports FW 3.02, the love for Booster's app will probably keep on going.
While it does have all the emulation goodness you could ever want, being comfortable with your PSP also means liking how you interface with it. To that end, Mesut decided to add new menus for Devhook v0.51 to give it another look for people to try out.
This modification adds a CPU clock, as well as an option to execute Autorun after one to seven seconds. You can choose between 2.82, 3.01, and 3.02 firmware types with his version, so people looking to switch it back into earlier versions may not want to use this mod. In any case, just remember that 3.02 doesn't support homebrew, so scene members who're more into games may prefer to stick to the version they currently have now.
To install it, we'll take our cue from Mesut:
Take the uploaded Devhook and extract it to your MS. Open the PSARDumper folder and take psar_dump2 & psar_dump2% to GAME folder and Dump your FW 3.02. When its done, go to the root of your MemoryStick, take F0 to X/DH/302 and when you are done go to Devhook and choose FW 3.02 from the LIST then go to Flash Install and Flash to Flash1.
Before you Flash Install to Flash1, be sure to select FW 3.02 from FW list then go to Flash Install.
That being said, and feel free to check the forum posts below for info on Mesut's release and the updated Devhook v0.51 installation guide made by Hardrive. Enjoy the download!
