Psilocybeing from our forums has released yet another update to his popular Portable meditation engine homebrew application for the PSP. There have been no version numbers, but each release is dated - which seems like a better idea because it is bing updated so quickly!
Portable Meditation engine plays sounds to influence your state of mind. The application is based on a program called Brain Wave Generator for the PC, and uses Binaural beats to influence your state of mind. This release (Updated 02/05) gets rid of some of the distortion issues users were experiencing with earlier versions of the appication. There is still a little bit of distortion, but with some good headphones it should sound pretty clear.
After trying this application last night when I was going to sleep, I'm happy to say that it actually works. Although I generally do not believe that things like this work, uising it helped me get to sleep, and I woke up feeling a lot better than I do most mornings. Maybe it was the program, maybe it was a coincidence, but I do suggest that even if you don't believe in this sort of stuff - give it a try!
Also, look forward to even more releases. The screenshot above is a draft for a new style currently being worked on by Psilocybeing - keep up the good work.
