Talking to Coldbird the other day, he told me that he wasn't happy with the way Cpasjuste's overclock mod worked. The fact that it simply overwrote your module loading file meant that if you had installed any other mods, it wouldn't work. He revealed that he was working on a module installer which would flash modules safely and non-destructively.
And today, he has just released the first version of his Universal Module Installer for Dark AleX's 2.71 SE firmwares. While the installer itself is a great piece of work, there are a few things which will probably be included in the next version. Currently, it's still very easy to install the modules you want. Only thing is, you have to read the readme file thoroughly, something which isn't done much.
As always, the readme file mentions the correct usage of the installer. In case you can't figure out how to do this, you can either wait for the other programmers to package their mods with this installer, or pester them to do it. Like I said before, the installer is modifies the module loading file non-destructively, so your earlier mods will still work after you install a new mod. Have fun, and if you need help with it, you can check out our forum thread using the link below.
