Homebrew developer Red_Squirrel dropped by QJ.NET PSP Development Forum and released a new build of the application Alternative VSHMenu, bumping it up to version 3.1. The last update for this program was rolled out December of last year.
For those not familiar with Alternative VSHMenu, it is similar in function to the VSHMenu that comes with M33 custom firmwares but with several utilities like background color change, turn the PSP off or put it to sleep, and many others.
According to Red_Squirrel, the only thing that changed in version 3.1 is that the used-to-be broken Standby function is now working. Aside from that, all other features are similar to the past versions.
Alternative VSHMenu v3.1 comes with its own Readme.txt file. Be sure to browse through that first before doing anything to avoid any problems.

IconPack IconPack
Icons have it bad. They're just sitting there in your file explorer window, looking pretty as, well, an icon. But their life is a tough one to live. Because people (much like you or me) would rather give them a make over so that it's easier to organize stuff. Compare the before and after shots above. See?
