uberOne from our forums spreads the love as he shares with the brew community his Topmenu Generator. This application generates topmenu_plugin with custom icons for the xmb. In order to get it running, you have to falsh it with a program of your choice. filer or XFlash ought to work just fine.
According to him, this is actually "more of a frontend type thing to kgsw's stuff." The best thing about this is that it really makes things a litle more easier, especially for the noobs. Although the original one was easy and helpful enough, it doesn't hurt to go a step more, right?
Anyhow, take note of this particular instruction: The icons MUST be 64x64 and in 8 bit bmp format. The first color in the palette will be transparent. Also, you have to have NET 2 FRAMEWORK INSTALLED. But no worries, cos we've got all that you need right here.
Just click on the download links below. Oh, and if you've got any comments or queries regarding this app, feel free to voice out over at our forums.
