Homebrew developer FreePlay dropped by QJ.NET PSP Development Forum and released a new application called PSP RSS Manager. Just like its name implies, it's a Windows-based program that allows users to manage the RSS channels on their Sony handheld units.
PSP RSS Manager is currently on version 0.1 Beta and is compatible with PlayStation Portable running on firmware 2.80 and above. FreePlay also added that this program should run regardless if your handheld is homebrew-compatible or not. The following features have also been provided by the coder:
* Enter the title, URL, web link, description, and copyright information for an RSS channel
* Indicate whether a channel should be added to the list of pre-selected channels when you pick "Select Multiple" in the RSS channel viewer
* Add and delete channels
* Save the listing to your PSP for instant access
FreePlay included a Readme.txt file in PSP RSS Manager v0.1 Beta that should provide you with all necessary information regarding installation and usage. The coder is also encouraging users to come up with suggestions as he intends to continue working on this project.
