DDRLord has released another update to his Java 2.71SE EBOOT fixer GUI for the PSP today to address a few glitches in the last version and to add a couple of new features. You may have remembered quite a few EBOOT fixers that got released after ColdBird's original 2.71SE homebrew fixer was released which required you to use command prompt, but DDRLord's version has seemed to dominate the market with many updates and the added extra of being cross-platform. Yes, this means that you can use this nifty utility on any operating system, as long as you have Sun Java runtime environment installed and this application even comes with a Sandisk Memory Stick Pro Duo as the icon!
Now I'm sure you want to know what great new additions to this program DRLord has come up with. Here's the details:
* 1.5 mode, which merges kxPloited EBOOTs into 1.0 format (while simultaneously fixing them for use with 2.71 SE/Epsilon.) The fixed EBOOT gets saved into the non-% folder.
* Support for kxPloited % EBOOTs in 1.0 mode (in case you feel like keeping them kxPloited.)
* Fixed a glitch that would not allow EBOOTs without an Icon0.png to be properly fixed.
* Cleaned up code for speeding up certain operations (unpacking PBPs should be faster now, as extraction is much more selective) and labels (in an attempt to make it even easier to use)
