  LocoRoco Style

Loco Roco, well, where do we start? Whatever Alejandro Quan Madrid said about it, here at QJ territory, everytime there is something to write about these cute blobs, let's just say that everybody here (especially Karen) would kill to cover the story. Well, what can we say, we fell in love with them blobs, there's no reason not to. And we know that you also got captivated with these creatures, that's why homebrew developer MonkeyBoy1916's latest creation might tickle your fancy as he proudly brings to all of you, Loco Roco lovers, the PSP Revolution Loco Roco Style v1.

The developer mentioned to us that he "modded everything to have a locoroco feel to it, but since there are very few locoroco songs available i could only include 2, once more are available i will add them to LocoRoco Style.." Yes, there are only two songs-- Loco Roco Demo and Evil Theme, but once you start playing, you'll easily forget that inadequacy because you're already getting amused by the Loco Roco feel of the game. Just be careful not to be too enamored because you might miss them steps, which unfortunately happened to us.

Anyway, there is definitely more room for improvement (which means more Loco Roco) for this app in its next release. MonkeyBoy1916 would also like to apologize about the delayed release of Anime Style v4, but he promises that it would be worth the wait "as it has about 20 new songs and 5 new Anime's". For now, let the PSP Revolution Loco Roco Style v1 melt your hearts. And also don't forget to talk about it through your comments.

BugzBugz
Bugz English homebrew coder Insert_Witty_Name introduced us to Bugz, the author's official entry to the 2008 Neoflash Spring Coding Competition. The homebrew game sports an art style on a visual level comparable to SCEJ's LocoRoco, although this one doesn't involve singing blobs of cuteness

While the video game has been available for some time now, the demo will still be useful for those who haven't tried it yet

Jumper  Remember PSP Helicopter? This one is kind of like that, except instead of building flying at you its goombas and koopas. Oh yeah, its not a helicopter either. In this little piece of Lua programmed homebrew by Gutya, you take control of Mario as familiar fiends come rushing your way. If nothing else, its a different slant on this classic platformer
