TheEmulatorGuy from our forum has released MP3-ID3 v0.01beta for PSP. MP3-ID3 is an MP3 tag reader program for the PSP. TheEmulatorGuy was originally planning to make an ID3 tag editor, but he had to move on to other projects. So he released this as a milestone. This program is capable of reading MP3 ID3v1/v2 tags and browsing files. A time/battery display is implemented in the menu, and you can switch among different color themes for your own preference. Here are some more details of this program:
Bugs:
* There is a 5000 character limit to the ID3v2 at whole.
* There is a 255 character limit to each ID3v2 tag.
* ID3v2 padding is not supported.
* In a few very rare cases, ID3v1 tags will not show correctly.
* There seems to be a problem with the pad. As long as you don't press "up, up, up" instead of holding up, you'll be fine.
To-Do in next release:
* Support ID3v2 padding.
* Finalize ID3v1 tag editing (make it work.)
* Fix the pad "problems".
* Customize your own themes.
To-Do in future releases:
* Support ID3v2 tag editing

Hey.
During the development of my game I wanted to be able to playback MP3's using the PSP's media engine processor. Knowing that there existed a few libs already I decided to try and use one rather than reinventing the wheel.
The best and most powerful one that I saw seemed to be Sakya's example from LightMP3
