  DIR-to-XML

Developer bravekn1ght dropped us a line earlier to announce the release of the homebrew application DIR-to-XML Tool v.1.0.1.

Simply put, this program will enable PlayStation Portable owners to convert their MP3 files into an RSS/XML feed. What this basically means is that you'll be able to stream your personal tunes from your PC into your handheld system via WiFi.

Barring wonky connections, this ensures that whatever space your music ate up can now be allocated to more important matters, such as videos, other handy homebrews, or even a new game or two.

Before you gets started with the conversion, bravekn1ght notes that you will need to have an HTTP File Server. Instructions on where you can get one are included in the file bundle's readme, along with details on how to configure both your PC and PSP. Enjoy the download!

UPDATE: Coder bravekn1ght just sent QJ.NET another email informing us that version 1.0.2 of the application DIR-to-XML has just been released. According to the changelog found inside this build's readme file, this fixes issues encountered when filename has "&" symbol.
