Naruto (Contra Edition) v3- As promised, more improvements and a new version has been released.
I have been programming this first project in about 4months, but when i released the third version i realised that it was very bad and the code was very bad too.
Now that seven months have passed , with a brutal help from daniel(dan369) and Steve Yaustar, he explaned me how tiles work, collision and scroll, and yaustar helped me improving the code.
From that i started my own tile engine for 2d platform games.
Changelog:
Version 3 :
Done :
-- Game engine added, with scroll, collision, etc based on tiles.
-- Scroll.
-- Tiles as background and platforms.
-- Much Much Much better code.
-- Clone of the first level of Contra.
To be Done in the next version :
-- Change the map to be playable with the sprites sizes.
-- Complete the background and platforms.
-- Add a simple menu.
-- Add enemies.
