  Netlib

When developing a new game or application for a current gen video gaming system, creating something from scratch can be very difficult, considering how software development kits are priced. This doesn't always have to be the case, as with the help of talented programmers such as PSPUpdates member and developer, youresam, who has put together the first release of netlib. Netlib is a development library that will make it easier for PSP homebrew developers to create games and applications using the PSP's infrastructure mode. The library paves the way for a plethora of PSP multiplayer games.

Current functions include;

* netsend(id,data,abtribute)
* netget(id)
* netdelete(id)
* netcheck(id)

So what are you developers waiting for? Get out there and make some multiplayer games! ;)

funcLibfuncLib
funcLib  PSP homebrew developer Sleepy dropped us a line earlier to announce the release of funcLib v1.0.0. This PC-based app, developed by the duo of Sleepy and Flatmush, is a function library built to help ease up the task of programming homebrews for the PSP. This news heralds funcLib 1.0
FlashModFlashMod
FlashMod I've just received a message from Steven Mattera (aka IchigoKurosaki) of Orbis PSP Development stating that work has stopped on the highly anticipated release of FlashMod v3. Sadly, it seems that while he was trying to test a new write system for FlashMod, his PSP bit the big one and bricked
FLIB Truetype Font LibraryFLIB Truetype Font Library
FLIB Truetype Font Library Samstag from our forums has put in a lot of time and created this Library for PSP Homebrew Programmers. What it does is make it easy for developers to use TrueType fonts in your program. Without something like this, it becomes very difficult and time-consuming to write code to use TrueType Fonts
PBPCatPBPCat
PBPCat  PSP Homebrew developer flatmush (creator of flAstro) dropped by the QJ.NET Forums earlier to announce the release of a new application, dubbed PBPCat. This application is built for other PSP developers, and has been described as a substitute for bin2o. Here reads flatmush's full explanation: PBPCat adds extra files into an EBOOT
Color MixerColor Mixer
Color Mixer  Homebrew developer seanpaul223 dropped by QJ.NET PSP Development Forum and released version 0.2 of the application Color Mixer. This was based on a program originally created by the coder andyauff. Anyway, Color Mixer is exactly what its name says - a program allowing users to create their own colors by modifying RGB values from zero up to 255
myLCDmyLCD
myLCD  Okio from our forums has just updated myLCD. This tool is only for developers. If you don't understand a word of what I say, don't worry. You don't need to understand this unless you're a developer. First the greek explanation. Well, not greek actually. But to most of you, it will look greek ;) myLCD is a Unicode Text Rendering Library
Lumo's Tech DemosLumo's Tech Demos
Lumo's Tech Demos  Lumo has been hard at work on his 3D modelling project, and has released two tech demos and several screenshots. I must say, this is looking amazing. so whats new? this: textures. load multiple objects from one program. load multiple textures from one program. load multiple versions of 3db from one program
TimeManagerTimeManager
TimeManager Yan2Yan's TimeManager version 0.1 could be a great addition for time-dependent applications and games for some trying homebrew coders out there, though this one's particularly made for C, C++ coding environments for the Sony PlayStation Portable
libLZRlibLZR
libLZR This is the initial public release of libLZR - a small open source library that handles the decompression and encoding of LZR-compressed data. (LZR-compression is frequently encountered in PSP firmware resource files.) Decompression results of libLZR should be identical to Sonys internal decompression algorithm. Please report incompatible streams to me
