PSP C++ IDE v1.6, with Screen Designer - Image 1 PSP homebrew coder and QJ.Net Forum resident pspballer07 has apparently been busy for the past few days, as another update for the PSP C++ IDE application is released. For the non-coders wondering what this homebrew does, it's described as a PC-based Development Environment for coding in C++ for the PSP.
Version 1.6 (this version) carries a new Screen Designer feature - see the screenshot to the right for reference. One important note the author mentions regarding this is that "There is a glitche when adding text in the Screen Designer. Long sentences won't show all of it on the Screen Designer but it will show all of it on the PSP!"
As for the rest of the changes from version 1.5:
Tab indents now work. (So you don't have to space all your indents)
Added "Insert->Screen Designer"! Cool feature and make sure you read the help to learn to use it.
Added "Tools->Copy Images from Screen Designer" so you can copy the images you used with screen designer to your PSP.
Added more in help menu
Added "Goto->Line" to make up for the lack of line numbering.
New Template Added to be used with Screen Designer! "Graphics Template"
One future update the author plans to include is support for PSPLink (aka PSPHost). Guys looking for further details for PSP IDE C++ v1.6 may want to visit pspballer07's release thread over at the Qj.Net Forums. Make sure to read the file README in the bundle for other important details. Also make sure to have the proper .NET framework installed. With that said, enjoy the download!
