Developer Mr305 visited the QJ.NET Forums earlier to announce the release of PSP Hardware Alarm Interface I v1.3.359. This homebrew application is basically an alarm that will activate even if the PSP's in sleep or Powered Off (standby) mode. The latter feature's definitely a big plus if you don't fancy leaving your handheld plugged into an outlet all the time.As for the rest of this homebrew's features (quoting the readme):
Main Features:
* Runs on both 1.xx & 3.xx Kernels - Compatible with both PSP 2000(Slim & Light) & PSP 1000(Classic)
* Sleep Mode Alarm with support for custom MP3 Audio file.
* Power Off Mode Alarm that plays sound in XMB. (Plugin Required - Seperate Package)
* Uses 12 Hour Time system (AM/PM), no more Confusing time conversions
* Display's Hour's and Minutes remaining as the Alarm time is being set; updated in real time.
* Alarm can be set up to 23 hours 59 minutes in future, Check for (Invalid - Readjust message).
* Alarm Accurate to the Second.
You will also want to download the Hardware Alarm Power Off Alarm Support Plugin v1.0.11. This plugin will ensure that the PSP's current time matches the alarm's time in ms0:sepluginsHAPowerOff Support.30.
Mr305 notes that due to some currently unidentified problems, this homebrew application's Poweroff Alarm mode is unable to function on PSPs running CFW 3.95 GEN-2. Further details on this application can be found in the file bundle's readme, and at Mr305's release thread at the QJ.NET PSP Development Forum.
