If you're in need of a head-up display (HUD) for your PlayStation Portable, you're in luck. PSP homebrew developer darko79 has just released a new version for the CFW 3.71M33 plugin, PSP-HUD. It's now in version 1.2 and it now has spanking new feature.
Developer darko certainly updates fast since we've seen three versions of PSP-HUD in a span of two days (or better put, a few hours). In case you missed the initial release for the plugin, here's a bit of a primer. PSP-HUD gives your PSP the ability to show some basic info on your handheld screen: CPU speed and CPU usage, BUS speed, battery status (percent and time left), and local time. Here's a snippet of the changelog from the author's release thread:
v1.2
- buttons for menu and HUD are configurable within configuration menu
- add custom alignment (adjust with analog)
v1.1
- added cpu usage and bus speed
- menu is now accessed with NOTE+LTRIG
- toggle HUD with NOTE+RTRIG
- redesigned menu selection (looks nice now)
Anyway, check out the download below and try it out for yourself. Be sure to give the readme a once over though as it contains important information like installation and usage instructions. You can also hop over to the forums to discuss the plugin with darko79.
