Homebrew dev dark420bishop dropped by our own forums today and updated his pet project PSP Submenu Icon Injector. This is actually not a surprise as we've seen the last time around how quick he was to provide fixes.
Anyway, in case you've missed it, this application lets users to replace their PSP's XMB Camera, RSS Feed, Online Instruction Manual, Remote Play, and Certificate Utility icons. What's good about Submenu Icon Injector is that it takes the current topmenu_plugin.rco and change only the selected icons. In this way, users won't have to remake their topmenu_plugin and change all the labels.
If this is going to be the first time to try this app, take note that you will be needing these things first:
* A decrypted topmenu_plugin.rco for 3.0x. (You can make one of these using any other xmb icon customizing program)
* Visual Basic 6 Runtime Library
* Icons
To those who've tried the first version, you will be elighted with these changes:
* Add check box to enable/disable program stops
* Add check box for slower program execution
* Fixed all bugs from earlier version
* New method for program delay - should use less processor bandwidth
* New method for running DOS programs - should be more compatible
* Added bmp2dat.bat - as a last resort for ppl with severe compatibility issues
* Changed color scheme
