  PSPSSH

Homebrew coder Zx-81 dropped QJ.NET PSP Development Forum and announced a surprise build for application PSPSSH, bumping it up to v1.0.8. We say surprise because if we recall correctly, the developer mentioned that v1.0.7 was going to be the last release. It's certainly a surprise, and a very welcome one at that.

Anyway, PSPSSH is a SSH2 client for the PlayStation Portable. It is actually a port of Matt Johnston's server and client Dropbear v0.48.1 running on a variety of POSIX-based platforms. With this program, users gain remote access to their PC units where they can enter various commands and run scripts.

Here are the following improvements to PSPSSH v1.0.8:

* Add splash screen on startup
* Add Clear key in Danzeff keyboard (useful to clear a field in the login menu)
* IR keyboard enhancement with new short keys inside menus
* Support Sprint PDA keyboard (thanks to Craig)
* Use new SDK wifi functions
* Update help / README files
* Bug fix and Code cleaning

The dwonload package below contains builds compatible to FW 1.5 and CFW 3.xx OE. It also contains the source code of the program. Please be sure to refer to the Readme file included in the download for instructions and other important details.

PSP Remote Control Lots of changes in this one guys. Nothing too advanced but will give us more control of the Devices we got working so far. For example, by popular demand, I changed the PS2 remote format around and now we have Start and Select. Hope that helps some of you for the wireless controller idea

PSPSSH Homebrew coder zx-81 has just released a new version of PSPSSH, a homebrew app that gives PSP owners remote access to their PCs. According to zx-81, this should be the last release of PSPSSH barring any major bugs. PSPSSH is a PSP port of Matt Johnston's Dropbear SSH2 server and client -- to be specific, version 0.48.1 of the Dropbear client

Portable VNC ZX-81 is on a roll! Only minutes after giving us an update on TI-92 Calculator emulator PSPXTI, he's now bringing us a spanking hot version of Portable VNC, boosted to version 1.2.5. PSP application Portable VNC is very popular among long-time PSP homebrew users for allowing us to access our PC desktop via our PSP from any place using a Wi-Fi connection

SmallNethostGui  lame from our forums has just updated SmallNethostGui to v0.2. Nethost, in a nutshell, is an application which allows you to use your PC's hard-disk, in much the same way as you would use it in USBHost. The only difference is that the experience will be wireless and much more enjoyable since you won't be wired to your PC

SmallNethostGui 0.2.1 Full Package  It's been months since we featured an article about homebrew developer lame's creation, SmallNethostGui. Contrary to his forum handle, this app is something really useful. Take it from some people who comment on that earlier article. Basically, the app houses a USBHost and a NEThost

PSPBMC 2.08 Hagaeatama has updated PSPBMC, a Bookmark forwarding tool for the PSP and your PC. My Japanese is pretty rusty so I can't give the usage instructions, but suffice to say that you don't need to be a rocked scientist to use it. The only thing that's fixed is the delete function. If you're japanese, have fun with it. If you're not, well keep waiting
