Homebrew developer Zx-81 dropped QJ.Net Forums a while ago and released a new version of SPSSH: SSH2 Client for PSP. The application is actually a port of DropBear v0.48.1. What SPSSH does is that it allows users to remotely connect to their Linux-based PC units through a WiFi connection.
Once this is installed in your PlayStation Portable (PSP), you will be able to run scripts and input commands to read emails using text-based tools, watch log files, restart services, and edit configuration files among others. SPSSH: SSH2 Client for PSP is currently on version 1.0.5 and the complete changelog is as follows:
* Improve vt100 emulation, the following attributes are now supported:
o Underline
o Blink
o Brightness
* Bug fix in vt100 colors
* Little modification of the keyboard mapping depending on usage frequency, for example it's now easier to use keys '' and '|'.
The download below contains two versions of the application, one for FW 1.5 users and another for those who have firmwares 3.xx OE as well as the source code. Please browse through the accompanying Readme files for more instructions and information.
