Yuriy Y. Yermilov (aka binaryONE) has created Tetris games for for the unix console as well as for the Ti89. With two Tetris credits under his belt, it's not surprising that he released a version for the PSP, simply called PSPTetris. As with other homebrew Tetris, the object of the game is to manipulate the Tetris pieces to create a horizontal line of blocks without gaps.
As the game is still in its beta, it's best not to expect much in terms of design and graphics. If you're used to vibrant colors of Sandberg's PSPTris, you might not be able to appreciate the old-school look and feel of binaryONE's PSPTetris. Now, if binaryONE finds the time to add the menus, score, lines, etc., PSPTetris would be perfect for casual gamers who like their games simple.
