  Roll 'Em Out demo

Plus! Labyrinth, Plus! HyberBowl, Super Monkey Ball, or Balance Balls - call it as you see it, but JustChris' new demo for Roll 'Em Out opens up tons of possible new games for other homebrew developers tuned in to the ball-balancing vibe. Roll 'Em Out was just recently revealed at QJ.NET's forums by JustChris, together with a playable demo.

Though the demo is feature rich and reflects much attention to collision detection, it is still an early form, and developer JustChris, known here at QJ.NET for PSPMyAdmin, for may have more in store for further builds of Roll 'Em Out. The homebrew coder is currently planning a level editor soon to avoid having to code in the level polygons yourself, though it will be PC-based - along with a PC version of the game to boot.

We're hoping that the level editor will also incorporate a mechanism to import your own textures for the ball and the level, allowing full personal customization experiences. But that could just be this blogger's ambition to create a 60s-themed level with psychedelic neons, traversed by a dazzling disco ball. Yahtzee!

There's no readme included in the archive and no particular firmware support claimed, so just copy the game's directory to the GAME folder under the PSP directory. It should work for the original PlayStation Portable, though we're also highly optimistic about its functionality for the PSP Slim as well.

PSP Tetris for FW 2.7  Well, blame E3. joeySMiTH from our forums had released Flash Tetris in our forums a few days back. But during all the E3 madness, it somehow skipped our radar. Anyways, on to the news. He has released a flash based game specially for PSPs running the new 2.7 firmware. The installation is pretty simple: Extract tetris

Well, this news may not be enough for one to buy a new PSP, but it definitely is worth jumping out of your chair in pure excitement

Titled 'Master's Intution Builder for PSP' (Yes, thats Intuition spelt wrong), it is a Puzzle game where you have to unlock the secret visual by using your intuition. This game doesn't have an easy explanation, it's supposed to be cryptic

Mazzee II v1.0b2 Homebrew developer Leo28C takes to the PSP homebrew game scene with Mazzee II, a little adventure with a blend of Balance Ball and Chip's Challenge thrown into the mix. Unlike the author's previous works, Mazzee II version 1.0b2 is not a Lua game; rather, it's a stand alone application built on C for the Sony PlayStation Portable

Pick-O-ManiaPick-O-Mania
Pick-O-Mania JustChris from our forums has just released his first homebrew game for the PSP called Pick-O-Mania. It may look a lot like Lumines to you, but the object of the game is slightly different from drop block and pop. I would liken it to games such as Bejewled in nature rather than Lumines, with the player having to eliminate adjacent blocks to earn points
