Chau Le has emailed an update to Sudoku v1.0, this one in the form of version 2.0 and is highly polished. Sudoku is a puzzle game where the aim of the puzzle is to enter a numeral from 1 through 9 in each cell of a grid, most frequently a 9i—9 grid made up of 3i—3 subgrids (called "regions"), starting with various numerals given in some cells (the "givens"). Each row, column and region must contain only one instance of each numeral. There is no math involved, but rather logic of having the right numbers in the right place. Changes in this release include:
- Pencil mode: press O on an empty square to start pencil mode. Use D pad to move around the square. Use shoulder triggers to enter possible numbers. Up to 4 numbers can be entered in one square. Press O again to exit pencil mode.
- Best time for each level is recorded.
- Can restart the game at any level, up to your best level.
- Skinnable. Two skins are included but new skins can be added to the Skins folder. Use existing png files as templates.
- New puzzles included. Puzzles are now symmetrical.
