Whether you call them tributes or clones, there's no denying the fact that there are a lot of homebrew games inspired from many well known video game franchises. Case in point is developer Dark_Momo's Mario Kart PSP v1.0 for the PlayStation Portable.
The latest version 1.0 of the game includes several improved features such as 4 new playable levels and 3 different racers to choose from (Mario, Luigi, or Wario). For your reference, here's the complete list of the changelog of the game:
- Improved graphics of the first 3 levels.
- 4 new levels playable.
- 3 different characters available.
- New main menu.
This Lua-based homebrew game includes a Readme.txt file which you should make sure to take a look at before installing it on your handheld. Anyway, we hope you enjoy this amusing Mario Kart-like game.
