Homebrew coder zx-81 has just released a new version of PSPSSH, a homebrew app that gives PSP owners remote access to their PCs. According to zx-81, this should be the last release of PSPSSH barring any major bugs.
PSPSSH is a PSP port of Matt Johnston's Dropbear SSH2 server and client -- to be specific, version 0.48.1 of the Dropbear client. With PSPSSH, you can enter commands and run scripts through your PSP as if you were actually sitting in front of your PC and flailing away at the keyboard.
This new update bumps PSPSSH's version up to version 1.0.7. The biggest thing here is that the lag issue encountered while using an IR keyboard or a virtual keyboard has been fixed. Aside from the lag being gone, a couple more fixes have been introducedin this update. Here's the changelog:
* Fix lag issue while using IR keyboard or Virtual keyboard
* Update targus keymap file
* Text console is now really Fullscreen

We say surprise because if we recall correctly, the developer mentioned that v1.0.7 was going to be the last release. It's certainly a surprise, and a very welcome one at that
