PSP homebrew developer dragon0010 released version 1.5 of his homebrew game called YAPR, or Yet Another Pokemon Remake. It's been so long since we saw the last version so it really isn't a surprise if a number of you guys don't remember it anymore.
Anyway, for the benefit of those who don't remember or wasn't able to catch the first release, YAPR is a pokemon game (as the name suggests) which features a couple of towns to explore and about 20 or so pokemon. This release sports the following changes:
new town, with pokemon center
saving/loading works
use of items(including pokeballs, although right now you only get 1 but you also have 100% catch ratio so use it wisely)
ability to choose male of female character
and 1 new pokemon added(i was planning on waiting until the next areas are done to add more pokemon but oh well)
According to dragon0010, it has taken months to complete, "partially due to laziness", though the dev promises to complete the rest of the features he has planned just so he can proceed with the storyline. Also, the dev indicated that this release still has a lot of bugs that need to be quashed and would appreciate if you guys will report any that you may encounter.
Installation is pretty simple, just drop the pspokemon folder into your Game150 folder and you're all set. Enjoy!
