Devhook has been heaven as it is, yet Nekokabu has come up with a module that will make Devhook a more exciting application.
Nekokabu's add-on screenshot module for Devhook allows users to take screenshots from the games or the XMB via Devhook. In case your memory fails you, Nekokabu is also responsible for bringing us the N64 ROM Renamer. Now, thanks to the translation of the screenshot module's readme file by QJ's all around wonder guy Jeff Chen, we can give you more info about this latest application from Nekokabu.
How to install
Copy the enclosed "screenshotbmp.prx" file into the "ms0:/dh/kb" folder. Then edit the following files:
- If you want to take screenshots inside games:
ms0:/dh/150/flash0/kd/pspbtcnf_game.txt
ms0:/dh/200/flash0/kd/pspbtcnf_game.txt
ms0:/dh/250/flash0/kd/pspbtcnf_game.txt
ms0:/dh/150F/flash0/kd/pspbtcnf_game.txt
- If you want to take screenshots in the XMB:
ms0:/dh/150/flash0/kd/pspbtcnf.txt
ms0:/dh/200/flash0/kd/pspbtcnf.txt
ms0:/dh/250/flash0/kd/pspbtcnf.txt
ms0:/dh/150F/flash0/kd/pspbtcnf.txt
Edit these files, put "ms0:/dh/kd/screenshotbmp.prx" under the line of "ms0:/dh/kd/devhook.prx".
Just like the iRshell, to be able to take a screenshot, you just have to press the music button. On the sad note, taking of screenshots won't work in all cases.
If this add-on to Devhook, gets you, the download isright here...you know the drill. Enjoy!
