Here's something for those concerned with keeping the contents of their PlayStation Portables private. Dark_Moon has released a new homebrew security application for the PSP.
The application is called PSP Protection Password. Just like the other similarly-functioning homebrew apps released beofre it, it basically adds a password that you can specify to your PSP's boot. It's pretty handy if there are a lot of people in your house who you want to keep from using your PSP.
To enable it, you need to use it in conjunction with the autoboot feature of any custom firmware. Please read the readme file includeed in the download for more information.
