There are the wave editors, and there are the backgrounds. For the guys manipulating the latter for their PSP, xm0d is letting everybody know that BG Split/Merge has just been updated to version 1.2, and now carries some more user-friendly functions.
As said before in ite previous version, this homebrew application allows users to split and merge 01-12.bmp files to create their own custom backgrounds for the PSP - which complements wave editor apps out there as this app intermeshes your backgrounds with the waves by placing them in the back.
As for this app's latest changelog:
Added support for browse function so you dont have to type the full path yourself.
Added an error check which lets the user know before flashing whether all backgrounds will be displayed or just one.
As always, we strongly recommend viewing this PC-based PSP app's README for important details, such as the Split/Merge process. As be advised to visit the forum release thread, which carries a comprehensive tutorial on running this program. And lastly, be reminded you need Microsoft's .NET Framework 2.0 to run this - we've provided a download link below. Enjoy the download, and make sure to visit the PSP updates site for any other apps you may fancy!
