PSP homebrew game developer, wbb, stopped by our forums today to tell us about his project which is a remake of Space Invaders from the vcs2600. His creation is aptly called, Space Invaders 2600. And since this game is a classic, it never grows old. A testament to that would be the number of Space Invader ports for the PSP.
The game, according to the dev, features different play modes which inludes Time Trial. It also has a view/ save/ load replays functions. Also he mentioned that this was his entry to the pspsource.de competition and since that is already over, he is quite excited to share it to us. And since this is the first time we're featuring this game, we'll hook you up with the controls.
Controls:
* Right, R - Select next sequence
* Left, L - Select previous sequence
* Circle, Start - Start sequence
* Up - Save replay
* Down - Load replay
* Square - View replay
He provided a very helpful readme that comes with the download, so read up! Anyway, thanks to wbb for sharing his creation with us! Happy Holidays to y'all!
