Space Invaders Portable - TacticalPaper - (aka Tactical Penguin) has just released Space Invaders Portable v0.5, and this time, the game will come with new graphics and themes, five of which you can use right off the bat, and if you're not satisfied, you can make your own custom themes!
We know we've featured quite a few homebrew games that are ports of the classic Space Invader game from the 80's (you have TCGS Invader and TIFF Space Invaders, to name a few) but so far, none have offered the ability to make your own custom themes for the game. And with Space Invaders Portable v0.5, you not only get to enjoy the classic aim and zap action from the classic game, you'll also get to choose or make the theme you want.
Controls: Left: Move left, Right: Move right and Cross: Shoot bullet. TacticalPaper/Tactical Penguin wants to thank Joe48182 for making the standalone eboot for this game. Oh, and if you're interested in making custom themes (as we know you surely are), make sure you check out the CTT.txt tutorial file included in the download below.
To do:
* Rewriting for optimization
* Bosses
* Pickups
* Different weapons
Changelog:
* Added themes system, allowing player to select a theme before playing. 5 themes for now
* Custom themes are supported, see CTT.txt for instructions.
